Trace Ramsey began making zines in 2000. In 2008 Trace finished their first book, an anthology of the first five issues of their zine Quitter. In 2014, this anthology (Quitter: Good Luck Not Dying) was re-released by Pioneers Press (pioneerspress.com) and includes issue number six. Quitter #9 was finished in February of 2015. Quitter is a 1/4 page zine of creative, literary non-fiction. Trace also writes the zines Gravity Kills, Fog Index, and Lasterday. One of Trace’s children, Tennessee, puts together the zine Birds Birds Birds, which is also distributed by Pioneers Press.
