Workshops – free and open to the public

Did you know that the zine fest is free an open to the public? Come check out our vendors’ zine wares anytime from 11am-4pm! We’re also excited to announce a lineup of zine workshops scheduled on the hour at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. They are also free and open to the public (until the seats are filled), and supplies will be provided, just bring your ideas.

We’re still working on the final schedule, but one workshop will be taught by returning zine instructor Tristin Miller, called Creating Content & Deciding Design:  Helpful hints & tips when making your own zine from how to come up with content ideas & how to apply basic design concepts when creating your layout.

Tristin Miller (she/they), visual artist & zine enthusiast will share their ideas and pro-tips for coming up with your own zines. Miller is the founder of the Greensboro Zine Fest (est. 2016) and has been celebrating & sharing zine culture throughout the southeast since 2016.
